Serum vs face cream. What is the difference?

FACT

A serum and a face cream are not the same thing and they are not interchangeable. A serum is a lightweight formula with a high concentration of active ingredients. Its molecules are small enough to penetrate deep into the skin and deliver actives where they are needed most. A face cream works on the surface. It seals in moisture, strengthens the skin barrier and protects. Both have a job. Neither does the other's job.

IMPACT

Skip the serum and your skin misses out on the deep active treatment, the ingredients that target dehydration, uneven tone and early signs of ageing from within. Skip the face cream and your skin has no protection. The moisture escapes, the barrier weakens and whatever the serum delivered gets lost. Together they work as a system. The serum treats. The face cream locks it in.

DO THIS

Apply serum first on clean skin. Gently massage it into your skin. Do not forget the thin sensitive skin around your eyes. Give it thirty seconds to absorb. Then apply your face cream on top to seal everything in. Morning and night. That is the complete routine.
