What A Face Cream Actually Does

FACT

A face cream has one primary job, to restore and lock in moisture. It works by reinforcing your skin barrier, the thin protective layer that keeps hydration in and irritants out. Without a functional skin barrier your skin is exposed, unprotected and losing moisture around the clock.

IMPACT

A good face cream does three things;

  1. It hydrates, replacing the moisture your skin loses every day.
  2. It protects, strengthening your skin barrier against external stress.
  3. It repairs, supporting your skin overnight when it is in recovery mode.

The result is skin that looks healthier, feels less tight and ages slower. Not dramatically. Just consistently, every single day.

DO THIS

Apply a face cream morning and night on clean skin. Take about the size of a pea on your fingertip and apply it to your forehead, cheeks and chin. Gently massage it into your skin using small circular movements rather than rubbing. Pay attention to areas that feel tight or dry. That is where your skin needs it most.
